Syd Meats is a singer-songwriter of (mainly) humorous songs. He is based in Romsey (near Southampton) in Hampshire. He is probably best known for parodies and original humorous songs such as "Mayfly". He has performed at Folk Clubs, on BBC Radio, and at various festivals. His songs have been covered by performers including Boothby Graffoe and Antioio Forcione. His prawns have successfully crossed the Atlantic.
